Welcome!!

Hi people ^___^
Nice to meet you all, my name is Elisa and here you can read some basic facts about me.
I’m 23 years old (b.day is the 13th October) and I live in Reggio Emilia, that's in northern Italy (close to Bologna), even if I was born in the south..

I study marketing at the business college. I still have to understand how I got there, since I wanted to study languages, but, when I'm not sulking about how I hate some subjects, it's pretty interesting.
I strum(med) the bass from time to time and listen to all kind of music, from jazz to indie to japanese rock and whatever fits my mood better.
I'm a lame photographer (you can see it by yourself >> here << ), I'd like to take some serious classes after graduation to improve my techniques. I think I can stop the time with photography that's a concept that really intrigues me.. probably because I've a very bad memory!
I like books and cinema too.
I also like to craft a lot. It relaxes me. Seeing something that takes form under my hand is very satisfying. In the end I realize just 1/100 of the projects I'd like to make but oh well..
I'm a big Asia fan. I'm very fascinated by its culture and the more I learn the more I notice how few things I actually know.
I like Japanese fashion magazines which give me an incredible amount of inspiration for my crafts. I also used to read/watch a lot of manga/anime and drama and I like visual kei. A lot.
Let's see what else.. hum.. I like cooking and make improbable new combination with junk food every time I can. I love animals (especially kitties and felines in general, even if I've a soft spot for elephants and monkeys) .
I'm quite a nerd and I like "few" TV series.
I like to travel very much! I've been to Lisbon, Berlin, Santorini, Prague and Paris and I'd love to visit London next.
Ok, enough for now. If you're curious and want to know me a little better you may want to follow the blog or take a look/friend me at my profiles around the net:

  2. Hi Elisa! So nice to meet you :D You have the same name as my mother in law <3 My dad's parents were from Italy!

I love your photography and I'm now following you on dA. I too would love to take classes to improve my skills. I take pictures of pretty much everything and am doing Project 365 - a random photo a day.

Haha, I'm usually quite a tomboy as well in terms of attitude and personality. At the same time you'll find me wearing lace or pastel colours! I'm heavily influenced by Asian fashion (I LOVE Asian cultures, fashion, and music too!) when it comes to that. I HATE when women are whiny, backstabbing, and have double meanings to everything they say. My husband's been softing me up too, but as you said, love does strange things :P

Being a nerd ROCKS! I'm a nerd and proud of it! I too would love to have a creative job. That's my dream, but who knows if it will ever happen!

Thank you so much for the Long-Term Blog Pals group. I love it!!

  3. Your Totoro is amazing...did you use a pattern for it or make it completely from scratch? I actually really like a lot of your crafty stuff, and had never seen cut out and keep before :D

  5. Wow... This entry was so organized! With links! I love Japanese fashion magazines, too! I was surprised when I read it in your entry. Not many people know of visual kei! If you like to listen to music online, I highly recommend Pandora, too. It's soo good! Lots of love!

  6. Thanks for the link to your blog post. Fun to read about you. I've been to Florence, Rome and Pisa, of course, as a tourist. I like to sew also. Your photo is real cute, but I'm not sure which one is you.

    Cheers,
